Following a stint in  amateur boxing, Arnold Allen took up BJJ and then mixed martial arts. He found BKK Fighters and the tutelage of Jack Mason, and from that base went on to post an exemplary 7-0 amateur record.

Allen was as fresh faced as they come in the pro ranks, debuting in 2012 after just turning 18. He scored an emphatic KO over Jimi Manuwa trained Nathan Greyson to show that he was more than just a youngster with desire – he was the real deal.

Allen remained extremely active and fought four times each in 2013 and 2014.  Midway through 2013, he signed to Cage Warriors after being recognized as one of the country’s best propsects. Four straight finishes over the likes of Declan Williams and Doni Miller showed that he was more than equipped to compete at that level.

At 7-0, Allen then suffered his first defeat to TUF contestant Marcin Wrzosek via unanimous decision. This was a good learning curve for Allen, who refocused and bounced back to two victories – a decision over Gaetano Pirrello and a finish of experienced lightweight Paul Cook, moving up in weight at late notice and still picking up the TKO.

Arnold Allen’s exciting style and constant state of readiness was enough to earn him a UFC call-up when an opportunity arose against Alan Omer. He once again proved he was up to the task and submitted the experienced German with a guillotine.

Allen has traveled to Tristar in Montreal Canada to hone his game with some of the worlds MMA elite such as George St Pierre and Rory MacDonald a move that seemed to pay off in his third round demolition of Yaotzin Meza at UFC London in February 2016 after a guarded game from his veteran opponent Allen exploded into life sending the American fighter to the mat just as the final bell sounded.
Arnold is committed to improving in every area as he climbs the ladder and brings English humour and an exciting talent to world MMA. Revgear Europe will be behind him the whole way.
