Going Green…TUF Female MMA Star Joins RGE

Lanchana Green TUF (2-1) Professional is the most exciting female prospect the UK has to offer and after earning both a place in the Ultimate Fighter via the trials and then a place in the house after beating Ashley Cummins in a gutsy performace during which in the first round she was almost forced into submission by the American Police Officer Cummins. Lanchana proceeded to turn the contest around beating Cummins by TKO to qualify for the show and join Claudia Gadelha’s team on The Ultimate Fighter 23 Show. UFC president Dana White described her entry into the TUF show as one of the most “impressive wins I have ever seen in the Ultimate Fighter and one of the biggest turnarounds ever!”  Watch the full Fight HERE

High Praise indeed for the 26 year old from Darlington in County Durham who has already been tipped to become the female equivalent of Irish superstar Conor McGregor by a national newspaper.  Lets face it though the amiable English woman has all the qualities to become a real star in the sport.  She’s an excellent athlete, highly skilled, has an exciting Muay Thai striking style and has the looks and charm to become an obvious vehicle for the UFC’s female divisions… When Revgear Europe was introduced to Lanch we loved her too!

Via a mutual friend top UK MMA & BJJ Coach Peter Irving introduced Revgear Europe HQ to Lanchana and her coach Martin Wilby of The Lab MMA academy in Darlington and we were delighted to bring Lanchana Green into Team REVGEAR Europe.

“I’m really excited to Join Revgear Europe” says Lanch, “Its a brand that understands the sport and makes quality gear”.

With Revgear already having plans for a specialist Womens Equipment range maybe walking in the steps of their hugely successful Combat Series and Kids CS ranges which spent time developing products with specific needs in mind it will be another step in establishing REVGEAR as the #1 Fight Gear Brand in Europe addressing real fighter needs rather than constantly following fashion.
