Andrew Punshon

Andrew Punshon has compiled a 11-7 record over the past 9 years, and is looking to add another name to his win column when he takes on Stuart Tyrie (6-5-0) at Made4theCage 9: Night of Champions.

With 18 Pro MMA bouts to his name “The Predator”  has only been to decsion once in his first ever outing, since then every fight has not got out of the second round. Including a thunderous headkick KO 4 seconds into a fight with Denniston Sutherland back in October 2011.

Andrew Punshon trains around the North East of England, with UFC fighters Colin Fletcher, Phil De Fries and Muay Thai World Champion Craig Jose.

With his fan pleasing style, Andrew returned to the cage on the 16th February at Made4theCage 9: Night of Champions. “The Predator” wearing the Revgear Staredown Pro Vale Tudo Shorts walked out to the cheers of his loud and excited support. As the fight started both men did not have to go looking for each other, they met in the centre of the cage and began swinging, heavy hands. Punshon tagged Tyrie with a hard punch dropping the Welshman, from there Punshon worked from inside Tyrie’s guard unleashing a torrent of ground and pound, whilst making sure he stayed out of any triangles, as Tyrie actively looked for submissions off his back. Punshon saw an opening and passed guard from there he worked his way to a fully mounted guillotine. He didn’t let go and cranked the guillotine until the referee stopped the fight at 3 minutes and 57 seconds into round 1.
