Saul Rogers Braveheart in Glasgow ACB – Updated another RND1 Victory

Last year Saul Rogers looked like he was set to be the UK’s latest UFC star as he tore through his opposition during TUF22 under the guidance of fellow SBG Fighter the Notorious Conor McGregor alongside his long term coach at SBG Manchester Karl Tanswell making it to the final and hotly tipped to win.  When trouble with his Visa application derailed his UFC Train Saul needed to re focus and do what he does best.

Out of a long line of suitors came ACB a Russian organisation with a background in Kickboxing who are putting on shows in Europe that gives the young Rogers the ideal platform to show the world his credentials on the world MMA stage regardless of which organisation he fights in.  Signing a multi fight contract Saul starts his ACB career tonight against tough Michell ‘The Aligator’ Adelina. A fighter from Curacao but who lives and trains at Kops Gym in the Netherlands.

After a first round submission win over fellow Ultimate Fighter Contestant Andre Winner in 54 seconds (Post Fight Interview Above) with an Anaconda Choke Submission at Tanko last August, Rogers looks every bit the contender for the Lightweight top spot in the UK rankings with many plaudits already considering him in that position 2017 promises to be an interesting year for Saul with the UFC perhaps losing some of its gloss and eyes turning to other promotions the cloud around the TUF Finale may well have a silver lining for the talented Mr Rogers.

Saul is part of the increasingly successful SBG Manchester team who have been using Revgear Sports for their equipment needs for nearly a decade now.
