Alex Enlund is a professional mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter from South Shields in the North East of England. He is the head coach at Sixth Sense MMA and also trains with the region’s top fighters at NEVT, which include Davey Grant, Curt Warburton, Andrew Fisher and many more.
After making his amateur debut at six months of training, Enlund turned professional in 2008 and has amassed an extremely impressive resume fighting regionally, nationally and internationally since.

Enland went undefeated in his first seven fights, with six victories and one No Contest. All of the wins came via submission, and he showed an aptitude for finishing fights right from the off.

Prior to signing with CWFC, Enlund had a notable win over Dino Gambatesa and has since picked up the scalps of Sebastian Romanowski, Artem Lobov and Danny Lawson.

The pinnacle of Enlund’s career to date came when he defeated Nad Narimani to claim the Cage Warriors world featherweight title in December of 2014 – a belt previously held by Conor McGregor and Jim Alers. In a great display of striking and grappling, he outpointed the extremely tough Narimani to pick up one of the most prestigious titles out of the UFC.

.

Enlund is known as a cerebral and technical fighter, and particularly an aggressive, submission-focused grappler. He holds a brown belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu under Leo Negao, and is well versed in the intricacies of the no-gi game for combat.

His latest victory over BJJ black belt Rafael Dias of the celebrated Blackzillians Team surely puts him in contention for a UFC signing at some point in 2016!

Alex is well known for being technically minded in every aspect of his game and is incredibly precise about everything he does.  His choices for training equipment is no different and he has been a valuable part of Team Revgear Europe for nearly two years as we enter 2016.
